How To Find Gaps In Your Consistency

Here's a great recap from a recent PLACE All Partner Call lead by our co-founder Chris Suarez. Reach out to me at Andrew.Pikoff@Place.com if you'd like to talk about this amazing, broker agnostic business platform that powers The Pikoff Team - Keller Williams Houston Preferred [Powered by PLACE].
Routines are rhythmic and consistent. They define our daily productivity, but there are activities in your routine that aren’t benefiting you. On today’s Partner Call hosted by PLACE Co-Founder Chris Suarez, we outlined how to redefine the tempo of your consistency and have honest conversations with yourself about truly completing your regular commitments.
Five ways consistency impacts your business
- Consistency allows for measurement. Without it, you won’t know what’s holding your business back. Analyzing your progress allows you to prescribe improvement activities.
- Consistency builds relevance. Your community and network benefit from your consistent improvement. Your business remains notable when it adapts to succeed in the present and future.
- Consistency creates accountability. Expect consistency for your team, leadership, and yourself, or else optimal results are not delivered, goals are unmet, and mediocrity seems good enough.
- Consistency builds your reputation. Business growth requires a track record. You are not bothering your clients – you are building a reputation of dependability.
- Consistency maintains your message. People notice the consistency in your actions and words. Behave in a way that exceeds the high expectations you wish to see in others.
Three consistency deterrents
- The belief that you’ve earned the right to laziness
- Business overflow
- Lack of leverage
Six questions to identify the consistency gap at the end of the week
- What did I say I would do?
- What did I do, and did I genuinely show up for those activities?
- How do I feel about that information?
- What must I do next?
- What support do I need to complete those activities?
- What will challenge meeting those goals?
You won’t get far without being honest with yourself about your consistency. Stepping up and holding yourself and your routine accountable can lead to boredom. Are you willing to be bored in 2023? Are you prepared to measure and analyze numbers that may feel tedious and unexciting but will make way for growth? A strict routine can feel redundant, but the success and the wins that follow are the exciting rewards you’ve worked for.
